Am doing a market in Florence St Tennerife Satursday 2nd July

the market was slow last week

but a good platform to introduce my work

I was asked to put together a little sample box to be shown by a dear friend of mine to someone who has a retail outlet as I only had 24hours this is what I came up with I feel like my work is all over the place at the minute fingers in too many pies perhaps

A piece that has been admired

I was quite pleased with it myself.

I got some time ago.

I got given the stone, locket and another

piece to put together

we decided to leave out the third piece.

I put Jades name on the bottom piece

to make it personal.

She is 5 years old!

Jac loved how I mounted the stone.

more yoga retreat pics

Hi all went on a yoga retreat last weekend

it was brillant!
there was lots of chanting, vegi food, yoga of course

even a bush walk

made some beautiful friendships

and

i was able to set up a little jewellery stand

while i was there and.........

managed to sell some pieces too.

it was all very exciting

thankyou girls for a lovely weekend

and as they say what happens at

a womens retreat stays at a womens retreat!

Andrew and I had our 15 year anniversary

on Friday. I decided to make him a key tag.

then I started thinking...............................

why don't I write my message in a different language

that way he wont have to worry about others reading it.

so if anyone is looking for a present to buy a male

I was given these little gems by a client and asked to put them together

in some way that could be worn

so I have been busy playing!

Michelle and I went into town

it was bucketing down but

we soldiered on, finding some

real gems along the way.

I was the searcher while Michelle

i love the idea of a collection

doesn't that word sound impressive

so where does one start?

i was on the bus going into CBD(brisbane)

when i noticed the names of old buildings

they kept jumping out at me

i then thought what if i could do a jewellery collection

based on these names and buildings

this is one of a few ideas i have brewing

and one of my problems is that i get too many ideas

so i am going to explore a few before i choose one

i have asked a friend who is a photographer to come

exploring with me and take some photos of these places

let you know what we find

i think this is called a seed.

hi my name is Claudia and i am a jewellery designer/maker

i have wanted to start a blog for a long time but.............

i will confess i have been too afraid!

my little voice has said 'no wait til you have made a great piece of jewellery'

'no wait til you have designed your logo'

no wait til.....

i think you get the picture.

i have decided to ignore that voice and start a blog that can show my journey instead

i decided that i would make you all a part of my journey by showing you

how i go from a seed of an idea that i have in my head to the actual piece

i think its important to show not only the things that work out but also the stuff that doesn't
